About the idea:

Actually the idea is not mine, I took it from this galician philosophy, by Mägo de Oz: They wanted to start a revolution, change the swords for roses, proclaim the sun as our new leader, raise the flag of the new dawn and form an army of butterflies. It is not so weird if you look at our current leaders.

Execution:

There are two main elements, the girl and that big fallen tree, or log, where she is sitting, it is hard to explain everything I did, but I can say that those butterflies were made with the petals of some kind of exotic flower, if you take a closer look you will see that every branch is just a little copy of the first branch, the position of the girl was switched from horizontal to vertical without affecting the realism there, her dress was modified too, including colours. Then comes the hard part, blending everything, adding the same light, color tone on every element and playing a little with the focus. It was very very hard to get that tree knocked down and blended with everything else, didn't want to die I guess. The light doesn't look very real, the strenght is exaggerated and that's just what I wanted, a wave of spears.
