:pointr: About the idea:

I've always liked the stories about mandrágoras, or mandrake as it is known in english, there is so much magic around this simple plant, which appears in many spanish legends. I specially liked "La Cruz de Santiago" and I've based this work in the song with the same name, by "el Mägo" as always. That's why I included here a sword and a cross, this is a bit different version though. There is no religious meaning at all.

"Shines the iron in her hand, her face bathed in sweat, where the sea remains untamed she will go."

:pointr: Execution:

Nothing new here, I think I've been using the same old techniques for the last two years, I've just added some details for a better blending and now I don't care so much about color matching since I realised I was heading to a more monochromatic style. If you've got any question about this piece, please feel free to send me a note and I will reply ASAP.

Here I have used shots from new and old sky packages. Also I've used two more shots from a nature package. Thanks to `wroth for this. The Resurgere team have always provided artists with high quality stock, if you are new here, go check their work!

This is one of the best stock galleries I've ever seen, very profesional. Like I've said in previous descriptions, it is hard to create good things from something that is already wonderful . Thanks a lot to Marcus Ranum and Cordula, the model of course.

It is really useful to have the elements you need in png format, so you don't need to crop. Very useful. From this stock I have used the cross in her hand, recommended. Thanks a lot for this.

*joannastar-stock
Again, very useful elements in png format, the only problem here is that I am becoming lazy (yes, even more). Take a look of the weapon packs, very recommended. I've used one sword from this stock.

Special thanks to *Lillyfly06 for encouraging me to submit again! and for the link to ~mjranum-stock of course! If you liked this piece, go thank *Lillyfly06

:pointr: Tools used:

Adobe Photoshop CS2, high quality stock and nothing else.
