About the idea

This is the first piece of the Elemental Collection, Fuego, spanish word for fire.

Execution

Placing an object in front of a very strong light can result in something very stupid, or very good. It takes lots of time fixing all the errors in the borders, matching shadows, creating the "halo" in the bright sides, personally I prefer to work in dark backgrounds because it is safer, and faster, but sometimes you need to take the challenge. So this is my attempt, I tried to do it right.

Her pose simulates the movement of a flame, ondulating in the wind, and the colors all over te piece make me think of fire, the sky seems to be burning, the ground looks like coal and there is some dust flying over it.
